The central location was perfect for exploring the nearby towns of Helmsley, Malton, and Pickering. The courtyard garden was a delightful little oasis where the children could play and we could relax. The cottage's three floors added to its charm, providing plenty of space for our large family. We also loved the friendly next-door neighbor and her adorable dogs, who made us feel right at home.

My wife says that the only thing she wished for during our stay was a larger selection of children's books and games.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was a convenient feature that allowed us to choose how we wanted to freshen up. the room had a welcoming and homely vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed.

The only thing we didn't quite fancy was the bathroom with just a shower. We would have preferred a bathtub option for a more relaxing bathing experience.
